Sony celebrates 20 years in Mexico with new products

Mexico. The Sony company is celebrating during the month of October its 20 years of direct presence in Mexico. Therefore, it presented a series of novelties that offer the user entertainment through innovations in audio, video, digital image and mobile devices.

"At Sony, we want to change the way we interact with technology and integrate it into our lives. We want to connect with people emotionally and mark the new generations by transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary," said Hiroshi Takahashi, Deputy President, UX Group, Product Strategy, Sales and Marketing, Sony Corporation.

"Sony has distinguished itself throughout its 20 years of presence in Mexico as a premium brand and our goal will always be to exceed the expectations of our customers; innovation, technology, quality and entertainment are part of our DNA. It is thanks to this that we have built such a strong brand reputation in the country," said Takao Kuroda, President of Sony Mexico.

The new devices were presented under four pillars: Digital Imaging, High-Resolution Audio, 4K and UX (User Experience)/Mobile Devices.

The High-Resolution Audio line responds to Sony's vision that music should be heard as the artists conceived it. Through this, it is possible to extend the frequency range of the sound. It has at least three times more quality than a CD and 36 times more quality than an MP3.

In digital imaging, Sony introduced state-of-the-art image sensors, with the introduction of new equipment for photography and video. 4K is also present in this line, with equipment that includes the 4K X-Reality Pro processor that masters content from Full HD to 4K. Projectors can play native content in 4K and receive online streaming of content in 4K.
