RLA, an efficient management with R2

altChile. To have greater control over the stock in its warehouses in Chile, Peru and Colombia, as well as to control the work in an orderly manner, RLA, Rental Latin America adopted six years ago the R2 system, which allows them to have control of all processes in their headquarters in the region. Today they take stock of this decision.

According to José Ignacio Castro, RLA's operations manager, "after having gone through rapid growth and expansion to 24 wineries between Chile, Peru and Colombia in recent years, we wanted to make the transition from the system we had to a more developed one that would help solve several flaws we had found."

To obtain this system, which would fit the requirements and expectations of the company, they had to look for it in the United States because in Chile, where the headquarters of RLA is located, there was no similar system or a company in the field that had something similar to manage the constant movement that is generated in the planning of each event.

Daniela Morin, Project Manager of Unique Business Systems, was in charge of supporting the implementation of the software. He explained that "it was an interesting experience to be contacted for the first time from a company in Latin America. The need for languages, currency exchanges, represented great challenges."

With the adoption of this system, RLA facilitated the ISO 9001 certification process in Chile, and is in the process of certification in Colombia and Peru. "This demanding regulation forces us to focus on excellent internal management, with rigor in deadlines, allowing us to prevent scenarios and anticipate them," explained Juan Carlos Vergara, General Manager of RLA.

Today they have instant access to information and in this way they can make the best decisions, grow in an orderly way and at the fast pace at which they are doing it. Rental Latin America is the audiovisual rental area of Videocorp Latin America.
