The techniques, tricks, recording streams and mixing of digital audio, in addition to the knowledge he has acquired after working with prominent international artists, were the topics that Frank Filipetti shared with about 250 people who attended his conference in Colombia.


This event, organized by Avcom Colombia with the support of Avid, also had the participation of Horacio Malvicino who shared his experience in the design, implementation and integration of acoustics for mixing rooms in 5.1.

Among the attendees of Surround mixing and acoustic design, as it was called, technicians from RCN Television, RCN Comerciales, Caracol Televisión, Fox Telecolombia, City T.V, Audiovisión stood out.

In addition, media centers of universities such as Javeriana, Politécnico Gran Colombiano, San Buenaventura, audio academies and different nationally recognized production companies participated.

At the end of the two-day day, Camilo Aranguren, director of Avcom Colombia, stressed that "in this way, the company continues to demonstrate its interest in raising awareness in the audiovisual industry of the importance of the use of new technologies, showing the client that their needs are not met with the most expensive product but with the one that adapts to their creative capacity".

Frank Filipetti is a music producer, recording and mixing engineer and multiple Grammy Award winner. For his part, Horacio Malvicino is recognized for his management as an engineer specialized in the design and integration of television, recording and mixing studios, with more than 30 years in the industry.
