During the last version of InfoComm 2011, which took place between June 15 and 17 in Orlando, the company was recognized with a Commercial Integrator BEST Award, thanks to the NITRO graphic platform and with a 2011 AV Technology End-User Award, for the development achieved with its Xpresenter ™ digital signage platform, located at West Virginia University (WVU).
The NITRO platform, awarded in the category "Digital Signage Software" combines graphics and animations in real time, with innovative features and Channel-in-Channel™ capability for an unlimited virtual number of overlapping channel layers and the support of 3D objects and teletypes.
For its part, the WVU Xpresenter winner in the category "Best Use of AV in Emergency Preparedness", drives a digital signage network of the university and in case of emergency, an RSS feed that reaches the Department of Public Safety interrupts the screens to show emergency alerts or weather in predefined formats, along with current information and instructions.
