USA USA The non-profit association for the creation and promotion of interoperability standards Lonmark International has created an advisory committee on lighting to guide and accelerate the activities of the organization in the lighting markets. Committee members are leaders of indoor and outdoor lighting users, specifiers, and developers, which includes representatives from BetaLED, the California Energy Commission, the California Lighting Technology Center, Echelon Corporation, the Greater Washington Board of Trade, PG&E Corporation, Philips Lighting, and ROMlight International. In the announcement made at the North American lighting industry trade show, Lightfair International, the committee pledged to accelerate the adoption of intelligent lighting systems in buildings and cities.
