USA USA The Green Life Smart Life™ project, an eco-friendly home on display in Rhode Island, announced that Lutron Electronics, whose products save thousands of kWh annually, will take care of lighting control. The Lutron HomeWorks is a total lighting control system that offers flexibility, power and versatility and allows connection with other home systems. It attenuates 15% incandescent light, an amount imperceptible to the human eye, prolonging the life of the bulb by four years and saving 15% of electricity. The control system will include the option to reduce energy consumption by simply pressing the Lutron "green" button. The system also has automatic control functions of motion, presence and absence sensors, magnetic door switches and even a sensor buried at the entrance of the house for security and outdoor lighting control.
