USA One of the NEC solutions that participated in the APEX contest, at digital Signage Expo, was awarded in the public space category for the implementation of jetBlue airline digital advertising at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. The "Digital Advertising Ring" design consists of 43 NEC monitors with 40-inch liquid crystal display installed in the form of a giant hanging oval, in terminal 5 of JFK. The ring showcases JetBlue-branded content, as well as advertising, entertainment and educational content for travelers, with a custom design for the solution's ring shape. The airline also acquired more than 200 LCD screens from NEC for its flight information throughout the terminal. Mike Zmuda, NEC's director of business development, commented that this digital advertising technology simplifies installation and ensures reliability. Editor
