USA USA The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced the winners of the 2009 Excellence of the Year Award, presented by CEA's TechHome division. The winners were recognized during an awards dinner on March 13, during the tenth annual Electronic House exhibition (EHX Spring 2009) that took place in Orlando, Florida. The CEA Excellence Award exalts outstanding achievements and innovations in product technologies, services and installation of custom appliances. A group of industry experts selected the winners in the supplier, training and support, and system integrators categories. Recognized leaders play a critical role in building the future of connected homes. A novel element of this year's award was the inclusion in the categories of a platinum and a gold award in recognition of the industry's most outstanding achievements.
