ISE. Integrated Systems Europe 2024 was the most successful edition in its 20-year history. The fair, which took place at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via venue, attracted 73,891 verified unique attendees from 162 countries, a record since the fair's inception in Geneva in 2004. This represents a 27% increase over the 2023 edition.
On Wednesday, January 31, the fair had 51,617 visitors, the highest number ever recorded in a single day, beating the previous record by almost 22%.
The total number of registrations amounted to 95,396 with 172,627 visits over the four days. Friday's attendance was 24,528, a record for the show since it was a four-day event.
In addition to record occupancy at the city's hotels, bars and entertainment venues, exhibitors reported an unprecedented influx at the stands of the largest ISE trade show in history.
The exhibition had the largest number of exhibitors (1,408) and the largest exhibition area (82,000 m² net).
ISE 2024 was a testament to the innovation of the pro-AV and systems integration community. Exhibitors from around the world showcased state-of-the-art solutions, ranging from advanced display technologies and immersive audio systems to intelligent automation and collaborative communication tools. The diverse range of products and services reflected the industry's commitment to pushing boundaries and improving user experiences.

The educational component of ISE 2024 was exceptional. Conference sessions, workshops, and keynote presentations by multi-Academy Award-winning director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and prominent digital artists Jeroen van der Most and Sofia Crespo were selected to provide valuable insights into emerging trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements.
Renowned speakers at conferences and on exhibition stages shared their expertise on topics such as artificial intelligence in AV, sustainable design, and the future of remote collaboration. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and gain practical knowledge to stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry.
The celebration of ISE's 20th anniversary added a special touch to the event. Commemorative events, retrospective installations such as ISE Time Tunnel and Vintage Audio Museum, and recognitions of industry pioneers highlighted ISE's incredible journey. Not only did this create a sense of nostalgia, it also underlined the industry's resilience and adaptability in the face of technological evolution.
