TruePix, intelligent platform for LED videowalls

TruePix barco

Latin America. The introduction of Barco's RGB lasers as a light source has given a considerable boost to the technology of rear-projection cube videowall, because through this system, it is possible to obtain an improved experience, by incorporating greater brightness, a wide range of colors and a longer service life. This technology offers a number of important advantages compared to LCD/LED technology.

Taking advantage of Barco's great legacy in LED, TruePix has been designed completely from scratch to create a videowall specially designed for a wide variety of professional applications. It perfects every aspect of the LED experience, from installation, through its long service life, to after-sales support and maintenance.

"Latin America is witnessing an unprecedented technological change in various sectors, because through the intelligent engineering of Barco TruePix a unique mechanical concept has been generated for precise and risk-free installations, eliminating visual distortion, which provides more fluid and efficient operations guaranteed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through uninterrupted data flows", mentioned Manuel Navarrete, LVX Leader Latin America.

TruePix is the first platform that uses the Infinipix® Gen2 image processing system, ensuring an unparalleled viewing experience for all types of content. The absence of visual distortions, low latency, perfect synchronization and the absence of tearing are the pillars of this system.

In addition, SteadyView, a unique feature of Barco, improves viewing ergonomics and reduces eye strain. This is especially important in control room environments, where staff use the wall intensively for several hours at a time. This makes TruePix one of the first LED murals built specifically for critical, high-intensity applications such as control rooms and command centers.

TruePix promises to be a change in videowalls, since it offers to cover needs that go beyond just the visualization, having a duration of up to 10 years with a functionality of 24/7 while reducing the ecological footprint by spending less energy in its use with the EcoPower model.
