Datapath announces new developments for Aetria

datapath

Latin America. Datapath has added some important developments to its Aetria solution: reinforcing system resiliency, extending the reach for KVM control, and offering secure control of mobile devices.

Datapath's Aetria is an innovative solution that brings together the design, control and video management of the control room under a single interface. Designed specifically for critical applications 24/7, all Aetria components are designed, manufactured and tested to ensure maximum reliability.

To provide complete system resiliency, Aetria now supports automatic failover for the core network administrator device. A secondary network administrator is configured as active standby, which is automatically invoked if the primary device fails.

The configuration, management and monitoring of both network management devices is done in the centralized interface of Aetria Command Center, where manual changes can also be invoked if necessary.

In addition, users can now operate the platform from their phone, tablet or mobile device. With Datapath's secure user rights management applied, users can upload any previously saved design to any connected video wall, anywhere in the world.

Aetria Workstation now supports direct monitoring and control of Arqa feeds. Integration with Datapath's Arqa AVoIP solution enables secure, hardware-based access to multiple remote sources in Aetria. Operators gain real-time control of sources as if they were hosted locally. To enable this, an Arqa receiver is connected to the capture card on the workstation PC. Arqa fonts are available for viewing and KVM control from the Aetria Workstation interface. KVM switching is performed automatically when the operator requests a specific source.

Finally, Aetria's Designer component now has an integrated tutorial and sample solution design for new users, making the design process even easier. A virtual "Server Room" location has been created to allow the addition of any necessary Aetria network administrators and/or source transmitters to the project design.
