Christie renews its laser projector M line

christie serie m

Latin America. Christie introduced the smallest, lightest and quietest RGB projector on the market. The new M 4K25 RGB advances the M Series line of reliability, endurance and innovation.

The launch in 2007 of the M Series represented a radical change in the professional audiovisual sector. "The M Series brought, in a small package, a lot of features," says Larry Paul, Christie's executive director of Technology and Custom Sections. "For example, aspects that until then nobody included, such as a smart glass system or the Twist, a tool that allows blending and warping. Add to that its small size and low weight, and and we understand why the M Series has become Christie's best-selling line of projectors and lenses."

Now, with the new 4K UHD resolution and the 25,000 lumens of power of the M 4K25 RGB pure laser projector, Christie reinvents that series, incorporating technical solutions that no other competitor is in a position to offer, in a small package of less than 44 kilos unrivaled in the market. Pure laser RGB technology doubles down on the chromatic stake of the original M Series. The result is bright, vivid images that approach the Rec color volume. 2020, a standard that approximates what the human eye actually sees.

The incorporation of TruLife+ electronics completes the necessary connections, thus saving us from having to resort to optional ticket cards. In addition, TruLife+ comes with ECC (electronic color convergence), an aspect that allows the user to correct deficiencies in the convergence of colors and adjust individually, and from a distance, red, green and blue, thus freeing us from the need to climb a ladder to make adjustments.

The intelligent ILS1 lens system makes it easy to change lenses (a great advantage for the rental and live show sector) and offers the possibility of motorized and remote-controlled zoom, focus and offset. The M, J and Crimson Series lenses, as well as the M Series rigging structure, are compatible with the new M 4K25 RGB, a great advantage for those who are already using these solutions.

With its precision, Christie's patented pixel-shift technology eliminates distortions that other pixel-shift technologies are unable to fix and offers 4K UHD resolution at 60Hz. With the optional upgrade of the Mirage, the M 4K25 RGB projector can support 4K UHD at 120 Hz in 2D and 3D stereoscopic applications. In the case of the optional Mirage Pro upgrade, it is possible to achieve frame rates up to 480Hz with UHD resolution.
