AVI: What are the solutions your company offers and what industry segments are you targeting?
Michael Wu: We provide wired and wireless microphone solutions, conferencing system solutions, audio over IP solutions. Our approach is to provide suitable solution for audiovisual integrators, for their projects of conference room, courtroom, transport station, educational sector, theaters.

AVI: Can you tell us the details of any recent projects in Latam?
Michael Wu: The last recent project in Latam was in Chile. Our client told us that a school needed microphone systems for hybrid classes. So we offered the microphone system that is especially for the education sector, the IMIC-5 model. The school was quickly convinced by the novelties of this system:

First, the microphone has multifunctions. It brings laser pointer, brings navigation buttons to wirelessly control the files of the computer that is connected with the receiver of the system, brings 3.5mm input for external microphone such as lavalier or headset and so the teacher does not have to grab the microphone in his hand.

Second, the microphone is rechargeable, so this saves a lot of expenses for the school.

Third, thanks to the automatic synchronization technology, the teacher can bring his own microphone for any classroom and the microphone is automatically paired with the receiver where he is going to present class. This forms a personal hygiene care idea because each microphone will only be used by one teacher rather than many teachers using the same microphone that is assigned in the classroom.

AVI: Why did you decide to join ConsorcioTec?
Michael Wu: We believe that ConsorcioTec is an important showcase to be able to present our brand to the great integrators of Latam and thus generate more knowledge and more confidence to the brand.

AVI: What are the benefits that your company can provide to the integrators that are part of ConsorcioTec?
Michael Wu: Apart from refunds, we also provide pre-sales, after-sales, technical support, product training in Spanish through video conferencing or calling.

AVI: How do you think Covid-19 impacted the audiovisual industry?
Michael Wu: It was a very strong impact to the industry and we believe it will continue for 2 more years. But this does not mean that we can only face the impact in a negative way, we have to adapt to this situation and make adjustments.

We Relacart have achieved growth globally in recent years, including during the pandemic, we analyzed the market trend and quickly launched a new line of products for personal applications, and of course we achieved success.

There is a Chinese word "危机" pronounces "wei ji", it means "crisis", but when the two letters are separated, "wei' means "danger", and "ji" means "opportunity, chance". That is, the crisis is always accompanied by opportunities.
