Latin America. Xilica reached an alliance with Sennheiser. The goal is to develop a fully integrated meeting room solution that minimizes installation time, improves sound quality and optimizes collaboration between end users.
The new partnership will leverage both companies' audio products, offering the user great fluidity to deploy adaptive and easy-to-use audio conferencing systems with IT.
The complete solution, which combines Sennheiser's TeamConnect Ceiling 2 beamforming microphone with Xilica's DSP ecosystem, user interfaces and network endpoints, ensures exceptional clarity in the conversations of in-person and remote participants in hybrid spaces. With this, end users can move flexibly through the space and customize their presentations to their liking, ensuring maximum audibility.
The seamless integration of Sennheiser's TeamConnect Ceiling 2 with Xilica Solaro processors and Xilica Gio network endpoints will benefit both integrators and end users, allowing for easy, code-free installation with pre-validated compatibility.
As part of the partnership, Xilica facilitates TruVoicelift functionality in Sennheiser's TeamConnect Ceiling 2 (TCC2) throughout its DSP Solaro Series, whose automatic audio testing and calibration simplifies the installation of multiple Sennheiser TCC2 microphones with consequent savings in working hours during system assembly.
In addition, with TruVoicelift it is possible to reduce sound, amplify the speaker and create, in the case of participants who intervene from crowded spaces, areas focused on them. Thanks to that, and Xilica's patented sound reduction system and HearClear eco cancellation algorithms, the new solution significantly reduces distractions in meetings.
To all this we must add that Sennheiser's TeamConnect Ceiling 2 and Xilica Solaro processors offer mute state synchronization for Microsoft Teams, allowing software-based mute actions, such as pressing a button in the Microsoft Teams application, to be reflected along the chain and back to the LED status indicator of Sennheiser's TCC2. Similarly, using Xilica's user interfaces allows a mute action to be reflected in Sennheiser's TeamConnect Ceiling 2 and back in the Microsoft Teams app, ensuring full visibility to meeting room users.
On the other hand, the follow-me camera tracking module is planned to be widely available for Sennheiser's TeamConnect Ceiling 2 in the fourth quarter of 2021, which will allow automated PTZ to be performed using the position signal information of TeamConnect Ceiling 2, giving even more freedom to meeting room users to make presentations in their respective spaces without having to worry about AV infrastructure.
