AVIXA Congress will be from October 20 to 23

congreso avixaLatin America. With the aim of connecting Ibero-American professionals in the audiovisual industry, AVIXA presents the first edition of the AVIXA Congress, a virtual meeting focused on discussing business opportunities and challenges, discovering trends and linking those who design and integrate AV experiences in the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking world, an event that will take place from October 20 to 23 and its registration is open for free.

The AVIXA team put together a program with more than 40 conferences that will address topics related to the use of audio, video, lighting, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Digital Signage and networks; in the development of solutions for education, commercial spaces, workspaces, home office and events of all kinds (virtual, hybrid and live), among others.

"In recent months, the trends we expected for the coming years have accelerated. Facts such as the speed of adoption and the massification in the use of new technologies, in addition to the development of innovative solutions will help us to move forward as an industry," said Rodrigo Cassasus Coke, CTS, Senior Director of Development of AVIXA for Latin America and the Caribbean. "If 2020 has taught us anything, it's that physical distances are not a barrier to the exchange of ideas. Latin America, Spain and Portugal have strong ties in language and culture, which opens up multiple possibilities for collaboration between professionals in the audiovisual experience integration industry and other related sectors such as architecture, marketing or entertainment. These reflections are the starting point to create this congress," added the AVIXA executive.

During the inaugural conference, Rodrigo and Martín Saúl, CEO of the company ICAP Global and member of the Board of Directors of AVIXA, will analyze the great changes that the professional AV industry has experienced and the enormous possibility that is presented to take the leadership in the implementation of AV systems, automation and content distribution to help people and organizations to adapt better to the reality that COVID-19 will leave.

The AVIXA Congress will also present discussion panels, in Spanish and Portuguese, in which renowned experts will participate who will dialogue on the new realities of the audiovisual world. The second virtual meeting of the AVIXA Women's Council will also take place, which will once again be strengthened by the international vision of professionals from various countries. The group of Ibero-American women will discuss how technological implementations have changed the way we communicate and relate, as well as the way business is conducted. On this occasion, they will address two topics, the first, based on management technologies for conference and collaboration spaces in hybrid spaces, and the second, on new business opportunities in the context of COVID-19.

In addition, in order for participants to manage the session calendar and easily link up with their colleagues to strengthen or build new relationships, the event will provide an agenda and networking tool – available for mobile devices (IOS and Android) and desktops – for all registered participants.

Registration for the AVIXA Congress – The AV Transformation by Ibero-American Experts, is available at no cost to the entire industry interested in participating. The platform will remain open until November 20, 2020 to watch the sessions on demand. For more information visit www.avixa.org/es or this link to do the registration process.
