Latin America. Black Box introduced the Reserve line of touchscreen meeting room signage solutions powered by the company's flagship iCompel digital signage platform. Available in three screen sizes, Reserva signs provide an intuitive and customizable user interface that allows users to locate and program rooms in an instant.
"Our new line of Reserve signs eliminates all the hassle of booking a meeting room. Just by taking a look at a Reservation sign, you can know if a room is available, see a summary of scheduled appointments, and see appointment options based on when the room is available or occupied," said Jonathan McCune, director of product management – AV and infrastructure.
The Reserva line is available in 10-, 15.6- and 21.5-inch models. The two larger displays can be mounted in portrait or landscape orientation and provide visibility from a greater distance, and can display digital signage in four zones. The Wayfinder Reservation / Meeting Summary solution is also available to display upcoming meetings in reception areas, next to elevators or in other public areas. Reserva Analytics is a browser-based solution that provides room booking data in a clear and easy-to-use dashboard.
With Reserva's customizable interface, organizations can create their own signage in the conference room and add their unique branding, custom content, and background style. Signs powered by iCompel can display any type of digital signage content along with meeting room information. Content can be displayed in full screen or in a multi-zone layout on any interactive Booking meeting room display or iCompel digital signage.
Included with each Reservation sign is the Reserva Connection Manager app, which offers centralized control over each room's signage settings. Connection Manager is quick and easy to set up, provides integrations with multiple calendar systems, and when connected to the iCompel CMS, provides remote monitoring of room signs through features like remote screenshot, support snapshot, and offline operation.
