Argentina. Convergencia DS was present at the LATAM ID Tech Conference 2019 that was held at the LG Business Center in Panama. There were invited the most outstanding technological integrators of the region, a delegation of 32 countries, of which only 2 companies were awarded, among which is Convergencia DS.
Outstanding Success Story of the Region with LG B2B Products
From the hand of the Project Manager of Convergencia DS, Ariel Denoy, the company received this award and presented the case of Banco Ciudad de Buenos Aires, an implementation challenge in a historic building in the City of Buenos Aires, built in 1977.
The Ciudad Buenos Aires bank presented them with the challenge of implementing High Impact Communication Technology for their branches, including the Central Branch, a building declared a Heritage Site of the City.
To meet this double objective, they installed "frameless" screens of LG's top-of-the-range line with 1.8mm of union and designed a mounting solution to avoid the double height that is generated from the open subfloor of the Sarmiento branch.
With all the limitations and special care that a Historic Building demands, they assembled a structure of more than 1 ton, which had to be entered in parts and assembled into the building after a sophisticated implementation plan, which involved shearing, assembly, welding and testing of the parts in situ, taking care of the building so as not to damage any part of it.
Once the structures were assembled, they proceeded to install an anti-vandal protection film and carried out the installation of each of the screens, calibrating and aligning them to obtain a mosaic at level, with great aesthetic quality.
