Elan expands its products with Dante and facial recognition

Latin America. The Elan company has just introduced several new products, including controllers, amplifiers and cameras, all with featured technologies. To know all the details of these launches, AVI LATINOAMÉRICA spoke with Eldon Henry, sales manager for Latin America at Elan.

He stressed that one of the novelties is a new controller that will replace the current G1. The new SC100, which has among its characteristics controller that you can start the loads of Zwave products, that is, now you should not buy two pieces to do a control job, as it worked until now.

Now it also allows to add functions for lights, doors, thermostat. The advantage for dealers will be to have a solution in a box, open the system more, expand the simple solutions more. For larger solutions, Elan has the GC2 and GC10 controllers, which are differentiated by the number of inputs and outputs.

The company also launched the new family of audio amplifiers that feature Dante technology, i.e. audio over IP. There will be two preamplifiers, one from one zone and others from several zones.

"The idea of these new technologies is to make projects easier for the dealer. Now what is needed is to have the network and on this you can send control, audio, video, to grow the projects. There is no limit," said Eldon Henry.

Among the novelties are the new cameras aimed at both the residential and commercial sectors that have facial recognition. The company's intention is to show that its solutions can be used in any space, such as shops, schools, among others, not only in residences.

Finally, Eldon Henry pointed out that this year they have had the support of professionals from different Latin American countries and expect that in the coming years the regional presence will grow more.
