Elation created atmosphere for Nicky Jam's "Intimate Tour"

Honduras. Reggaeton singer and Latin Grammy Award winner Nicky Jam took his "Intimate Tour" to the city of San Pedro Sula in Honduras for a show at Morazán Stadium that featured an Elation Professional lighting platform designed by Juan David Guerrero.

Nicky Jam brought his fans a new show full of surprises and shocking energy. The party atmosphere with bright color and high-energy visual excitement was a dynamic lighting equipment composed of 36 Platinum FLX moving heads, 48 ACL 360 Bar LED slats, 16 Protron 3K strobe lights, 8 DTW Blinder 700 IP and 8 DTW Blinder 350 IP blinds with atmospheric haze from a pair of Antari F-7 Smaze machines.

The successful production and operation of the event was done by PRO504, a leading production company based in Honduras that provided the more than 20,000 people who attended the show with an unforgettable audiovisual experience.

"In Honduras, I used Elation thanks to the excellent service provided by John Lopez," said Juan David Guerrero, who serves as Nicky Jam's lighting manager, lighting designer and programmer, and also created the stage design. Guerrero, who has worked with Elation before in his career, specified Elation's encounters. "I'm more than satisfied with his performance!" he exclaimed after the show.

Detailing the lighting design, he commented, "My idea was to make pixels with a wall of panels and bars. I also used 6 "fingers" where the beams are arranged to visually enlarge the stage and scenes at each entrance. It's not big, but I think it's visually pleasing and it was fun to program."

Elation's team worked in a complementary way with a variety of content displayed on a background fan of LED video panels. The Platinum FLX moving heads operated from three horizontal layers on the top platform with the ACL bars. Protron 3K strobe lights operated from the floor level across the stage, ten in front of the audience and three on each side of the stage, while DTW devices at the bottom of the stage were used for audience blindness effects.

The well-known reggaeton singer launched the "Intimo Tour" in April in Chicago and featured his Latin flavor and urban rhythms in a series of shows sold out in the United States and Latin America. The concert at the Morazán Stadium in Honduras benefited the Nutre Hogar Foundation, whose mission is to save the lives of preschool children affected by malnutrition.
