Massiva installed Absen screens in the Santiago metro

Chile. The Santiago Metro network in Chile has recently introduced a high-profile digital signage system from the professional Chilean outdoor advertising company, Massiva, who entrusted Absen with the supply of state-of-the-art LED display technology.

More than 1,100 square meters of Absen's N-series flat screen were installed on seven Santiago metro lines, making the metro network an exclusive, high-impact advertising platform.

Serving the city of Santiago, the Santiago Metro was first opened in Chile in 1975 and currently has six lines, 136 stations and 140 kilometers of operational track. With around 2.5 million passengers each day, this underground rail network is the seventh largest metro system in frequency worldwide.

Pedro Errázuriz, Massiva's Operations Manager, commented on Absen's selection for LED technology: "LED is a preferable choice for the metro advertising platform due to its capabilities to offer amazing visual performance, great color and flexible configuration. As Chile's largest advertising company, Massiva has extensive experience in the field of digital advertising and has established a long-standing relationship with high-tech providers such as Absen."

He added that "Before starting this project, we visited the Absen factory and were impressed with its manufacturing facilities. We thank Absen for the support they offered in R&D and service to help us implement the project. The N-series LED flat panel saves space and features easy maintenance, perfect for the metropolitan environment where both attributes are valuable. Absen has been supporting us for ten years in our projects and we will certainly continue to collaborate on more projects in the future."

Thanks to the advanced digital advertising platform powered by Absen LED, the metro network now allows Massiva to benefit more advertisers by maximizing the value of the investment through a brighter and more vivid display of ads and campaigns. With tremendous frequency, the platform can reach millions of commuters, making ads part of their daily environment and helping advertisers achieve their brand goals.

Premium LED screens of different sizes were installed, including 3 x 1.75 m, 5 m x 3 m, 7 mx 2 m and 10 mx 5 m on platforms and corridors or hung from ceiling beams through the stations of all Santiago metro lines. To adapt to different spaces flexibly, LED panels of 1000 mm x 500 mm and 1000 mm x 250 mm were used.
