Colombia. On April 22, Cedia will have a new training day in Bogotá. On this occasion, there will be two workshops focused on the design of theaters at home and on Smartphone and tablets as sources at home.
In the home theater workshop, attendees will learn how to perform a good design process of the variety of types of entertainment center and the impact that key elements of design and installation have.
In charge of this workshop will be Mateo Restrepo, Electronic Engineer of the Pontifical Bolivarian University headquarters Medellín. Diplomas in programmable controllers, business and international relations, university teaching with emphasis on pedagogical skills and fluidic technology. Experience in projects of different programming languages (C, C++, VHDL, Labview, Visual Basic, Matlab, LOGO). More than 5 years of experience as Director of work teams in the technical area of companies dedicated to the development of technologies focused on home automation and IoT. Control4 Certification instructor. He currently serves as Technical Manager of the distributor of the most important brand in the market in automation.
In the second workshop, dedicated to Smartphone and tablets as sources in the home, you will learn how to use the customer's personal devices as a strategy to open new sales opportunities and ensure high quality experiences.
Lina María Villa will be in charge of this workshop. She is an electronic engineer with a master's degree in sound and music technologies. Since 2013 he has worked in the audiovisual and automation systems industry. Experience as a professor at the university, teaching courses in electronic engineering and sound engineering. Since 2013 he teaches training for audio and video systems and certifications for automation systems. He currently works as a Project Manager in a company in Colombia. Certifications of CEDIA - ECS (Electronic systems certified) and COI (CEDIA Outreach Instructor).
