Shure expands its presence in the Chilean market

Chile. Shure has announced key changes to its distribution and an increased focus on the Chilean market. While Shure has successfully operated in Chile, the Company will implement a new business strategy that will facilitate greater market coverage and closer contact with sales channels and end users.

In this new business model, Shure announced MMT as its new master distribution partner. Shure will also work directly with specialized partners in the different vertical markets in which it operates.

ICAP Global will serve the unified communications market as a distributor for AV/IT integration companies, and will join other strategic partners such as Comercial Mercury, which serves the consumer electronics market, Videocorp, which serves the AV integration market directly, and major retailers Audiomusica and Casa Amarilla, that serve the market of audio and musical instruments, also directly.

"With a 93-year tradition of excellent quality products and best-in-class service and support, Shure continues to innovate, invest, push the boundaries and improve the way the company presents itself in the marketplace," said José A. Rivas, Shure's Vice President of Global Emerging Markets Sales.

Markets change and evolve, and Shure evolves with them. These new partnerships will position us for significant and broad growth in the future."
