Epson presented laser projectors for different markets

Latin America. Epson added new video projectors from its PowerLite line with solid-state laser light source for the business, education and marketing segments. The L400U, L500W, L510U, L610, L610W and L615U equipment complement the offer of the firm whose portfolio in Mexico has more than 70 models for different needs.

Epson's new devices are designed for meeting rooms or small to medium-sized classrooms. Aimed at corporate and institutions of secondary and higher education, the PowerLite L400U, L510U and L500W video projectors, have a capacity of 4,500 and 5,000 lumens, respectively, and offer high connectivity through two HDMI ports, two VGA, one RJ-45 and the option of wireless connection and HD Base T (in the L510U model).

Such equipment has a 360-degree projection function and some of them can project at a screen size of up to 500 inches diagonally and reproduce up to one million colors. The dimensions of the three models mentioned are 440 millimeters wide by 120 high and 304 deep.

In the case of the L610, L610W and L615U models, ideal for Digital Signage applications, they reach the emission of 6,000 lumens through their laser source, which allows to deliver clear and colorful images with resolutions XGA (1024 x 768 pixels), WXGA (1200 X 800 pixels) and WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels), respectively by model, to make multimedia presentations and project spreadsheets with high quality. They have a system of manual displacement of lens in horizontal and vertical, which in addition to facilitating its installation, allows to make a precise placement.

These devices have a life time of 20 thousand hours of operation without the need for maintenance and offer a contrast range of up to two million 500 thousand units in proportion to one. They have several connectivity options, including two HDMI inputs, two VGA, an RJ-45 connection and a wireless option (on the L615U model), as well as HD Base T connection (on the L615U and L610W models).

"We are proud to continue growing the variety of models of our video projectors with which we intend to cover all areas to continue leading the market in Mexico and the world. Our additional objective is to improve the experience of use and quality of the projections in companies and classrooms, in addition to achieving an important participation in the potential market of digital signage, "said Leopoldo Parra, Regional Manager of High Luminosity Video Projectors of Epson.

All Epson video projectors project images three times brighter than those of other manufacturers thanks to 3LCD technology that achieves a balance between white and color light to emit images as natural and reliable as possible to the originals.
