Legrand's AV Division to Launch Industry Strategy

Latin America. Legrand unveiled a new Commercial AV launch strategy to better serve its commercial integrator customers through the newly formed Legrand AV division.

This new release, scheduled for September 1, 2018, plays on the strengths of its commercial AV brands while leveraging an expanded sales team structure to help customers solve their AV integration challenges.

At launch, customers will benefit from a single resource for all brands backed by a strong team of product specialists, additional inside sales support, channel experts, and a group dedicated to driving sales to our customers. It also enables customers to leverage the collective strength of Legrand's scale and leverage the expanded product portfolio and customer experience efforts across the enterprise, all to ensure an amazing AV experience.

"Legrand is committed to serving the professional AV industry and we are continuously working to improve the way we go to market in an effort to be the easiest partner to do business. As we have continued to add brands to our portfolio, we realized it was causing complexity for our customers, which is why we have diligently collected customer feedback, evaluating our markets and evaluating successful models to ensure we are meeting their needs. We are excited to officially implement this strategy in the coming months. We feel we will be a better partner by building a sales and marketing structure that aligns more closely with our customers' needs," said Steve Durkee, SVP/GM, Legrand AV Division.

Over the next 90 days, Legrand will work to communicate and deploy the new strategy, which will take effect on September 1, 2018. Until that time, the current strategy and contacts with customers will continue to work as usual. Legrand is focused on minimizing any disruption to its customers, so it will continue to communicate throughout the process.
