Comstor renews its showroom with Cisco experience

Mexico. For more than five years, Gerardo Flores has led the Pre-Sales Engineering Management at Comstor which, together with its 8 engineers specialized in architecture, are responsible for opening the doors in their offices in the demonstration area available for their distribution channel and customers or prospects, to know, touch and learn about the solutions they require day by day.

The Engineering area at Comstor, explains Flores, helps the partner to meet the commercial and expansion objectives of the business; accompanies sellers in the pre-sale with their customers, whether in technical matters or in commercial matters, that is, from what correct solution to offer to explain the process of a tender. "The value we bring to the channel is our experience and the live demonstration of the most advanced technology and appropriate to every need in companies."

The structure of Comstor's Engineering Area has similarities with that of Cisco, since it has an SE specialized by architecture. The demos that Comstor has as architecture in the exhibition area are in topics of Collaboration, Security, Enterpise Netwoks, Data Center, IoT and Meraki. With the same model of a boardroom, the channel can reserve the showroom to occupy it.

The Flores team, made up of 4 Senior engineers and 4 juniors, are experts in all the vertical markets covered by Comstor; its high training in products and solutions is recognized by Cisco, as the excellent performance in security "Network Security", within the Fire Jumpers Academy program of Cisco.

The collaborative work of SEs, he adds--, allows them to respond to a ticket in less time than Cisco. In addition, Comstor supports its channel with advice through different means such as live demonstrations, workshops, Webex, Spark or in person. "We are consultants who can answer questions of any complexity to the channel or its clients, related to all market sectors."

Comstor's Engineering area in conjunction with Services created the Collector Program, which consists of guiding its customers hand in hand in staying constantly updated on issues of alerts in renewal of installed base, service contracts, uncovered base and equipment inventory.

"The showroom and the programs are available to partners to invite their customers to see how the technologies work, but above all, to get their hands on it to verify their use in environments that they require. Our channel is assured that our staff is always updating to support them more expeditiously," flores concluded.
