NEC strengthens for the Latam market

Latin America. There are several novelties that the NEC company has in this 2018 to serve the Latin American market. In addition to the unification of guarantees recently announced for its projectors, three years for lamp projectors and 5 for laser projectors, the human team that serves the region grows.

Horacio Alzate, Product Manager for Latam of NEC, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that in October he arrived at the company Bruno Tavares, who serves the local market of Brazil and the cinema line for the entire region. In addition, he was linked to Roberto Bottger, who is in charge of the marketing area in Latin America and soon a new person will arrive to attend the Southern Cone.

He pointed out that in total it will be a team of six professionals in charge of serving the Latin American market by NEC, providing a stronger local presence and supporting distributors and end customers, with one person for Mexico, another in Central America, the new position in Brazil, one more in the Southern Cone and Horacio throughout the region.

In terms of technology, the company also has several novelties. It recently launched two new laser projectors of 26 thousand and 35 thousand lumens, aimed at large events, auditoriums, museums and university halls. This is a segment that the company will make a lot of strength this year

Another of NEC's bets for this year is in the line of digital signage. For this it has launched the C Series, a new line of large format screens ranging from 43 to 65 inches and soon others of greater size will be added. These screens are focused on the retail, restaurant and education segments.

Finally, Horacio Alzate stressed that Mexico continues to be the main market, although in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Brazil there is a greater movement and growth in demand for NEC technology.
