Epson celebrated 30 years in Mexico

Mexico. Epson is celebrating 30 years of operating, uninterruptedly and with constant growth, in Mexico. Since the founding of its local subsidiary, the company has generated a significant base of corporate customers, small and medium-sized businesses and end users, who take advantage of the benefits of making their lives easier and more productive by using its variety of technologies.

From being known as a manufacturer of standard home and office printers, Epson has proven to be a solution provider for all types of industries that develops original digital imaging technology, based on the needs and usage habits of users and markets.

"We are extremely proud to reach this degree of maturity in the Mexican market, as well as to maintain constant growth in the face of all economic and social adversity. This is due to the joint work of our internal and external collaborators and the great diligence of our business partners who are committed to our solutions and contribute to maintaining our success," said Alberto Arredondo, Vice President of Channels for Latin America and General Manager for Mexico at Epson.

Epson's products are currently used in sectors such as financial, educational, commercial, artistic and photographic, government, industry, textile, graphic arts, entertainment, among others, after the local subsidiary was founded in Mexico in 1987 from a co-participation between a group of Mexican investors and Seiko Epson Corporation.

"Our business vision is now based on four pillars of solutions: printing, video projection, robotics and wearable technology to attack sectors such as industrial, hotel, sports, gastronomic and strengthen our presence in advertising, fashion and others in which we have always been, in addition to contributing to the development of small and medium-sized companies, which are the basis of the Mexican economy," Arredondo added.

A wide variety of printers for the home, for office, labels, of wide format, for point of sale, for managed services, video projectors (high resolution and luminosity, interactive, 3D) and scanners (of documents, photographs, laptops), mainly, make up the current offer of Epson in Mexico and have marked trends of use in end users, both home and professionals, who have evolved their usage habits in tandem with Epson's proprietary technology.

Epson Mexico products are marketed through a wide network of distributors located throughout the national territory. The company provides technical service through 73 Authorized Service Centers located in the main cities of the country.
