Haivision Seeks Sales Engineer for Mexico

Mexico. The Haivisión company is looking for an engineer to support the company in sales and technical support in Mexico and Central America, based in Mexico City.

With this new position, the company responds to the continuous growth it has had in the region. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, technically competent individual with experience in a high-level, fast-paced sales environment.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the streaming, VOD and digital signage account team.
  • Perform customer presentations and demos for assigned accounts.
  • Assist sales managers with overall account management within assigned accounts.
  • Assist sales account managers with pre-sales project management for complex engagements.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support.
  • Stay informed and up-to-date with industry trends and technical developments in target markets, including competitor information.
  • Establish long-term relationships with distributors and integrators.
  • Assist and assist in regional training and fairs as needed
  • Provide international support when needed.
  • You should be comfortable with a 50% travel schedule.

Professional and personal requirements:

  • Strong technical training, with more than 7 years of experience in pre-sales, streaming, digital video, or digital signage.
  • Must speak English and Spanish
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals, both internal and external, from senior executives to technical decision makers.

Academic requirements

  • BS or Master's degree in Computer Science or technical discipline or related equivalent.
