With seminar, Videonet seeks to professionalize AV industry

Colombia. With a seminar to be held on July 13 in Cali, the first for the AV industry in this city, the videonet company seeks to contribute to generate a value chain that allows the professionalization of the industry in the country.

According to Luis López, manager of Videonet, with the seminar, called Professionalizing Our AV Industry, "we want to give attendees an overview far beyond what they are doing today in informality. We are going to show examples of projects that have failed due to errors that are commented on daily due to ignorance. Everything can be corrected through specialized education."

He added that the common saying of integrators is that this is not taught anywhere and that is why you have to learn to blows. "And it's not entirely true, because there are organizations that provide specialized technical education. It will not be a technical talk, but the resources available for training will be shown."

On this occasion, topics such as:

  • Keys to achieve more and better AV installation projects.
  • Exceeding customer expectations.
  • How to generate greater value in our AV projects.

The seminar in Cali will be the first meeting of five that will be held in an equal number of cities in the country, among which are Bogotá, Medellín, Barranquilla and Bucaramanga. Videonet has the support of InfoComm, and through the website of the Cali company industry professionals will be able to access two InfoComm courses for free.

Finally, he pointed out that Cali is the third city in Colombia with the largest participation in the AV industry, after Bogotá and Medellín. "In the city we have integration projects of all kinds, strong integrators and distributors with a national presence that have their main office in Cali."
