Extreme Networks Launches Wireless Networking Specialization

Mexico. Extreme Networks announced the ExtremeWireless specialization program. This program enables global channel partners to deliver the wireless solutions customers require in order to increase productivity, responsiveness and extend applications beyond the wired network.

This announcement follows several enhancements to the Extreme Partner Network program launched in October 2015 and offers greater differentiation and rewards for qualified channel partners through the creation of a badge as a wireless network specialist.

The intent is to enhance the skill set around wireless solutions and create a deep understanding of the fundamentals of the technology, and the program offers training beyond Extreme's portfolio of wireless solutions.

Partners will also learn how to install, configure and troubleshoot other wireless networks  while ensuring international certifications of wireless technology (CWTS/CWNA). Obtaining the specialization provides partners with great market recognition for their technological know-how and also rewards them for their investment and dedication in selling and assisting in the implementation of  Extreme Networks solutions to customers.

Key Points of the ExtremeWireless Specialization Program:
Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond partners worldwide can apply for the program by submitting a form. Certified partners will receive a distinctive specialization card that is valid for one year.

In addition to the training sessions, partners who obtain the card will have access to exclusive mobile content, including  biannual webinars with key wireless experts and an annual roundtable discussion around conferences with Extreme's global partners.

The specialization program also offers additional discounts and refunds for wireless product training and demos beyond the EPN standard. Partners can also develop a short case study with the customer with the aim of showcasing a recent deployment and demonstrating their expertise in wireless technology installations, funded by Extreme and in accordance with the standard terms and conditions of the program.

Participation requirements call for a measurement and certification system to verify the use of the tools, examples of implementations in previous customers, and the scope of the ExtremeWireless demo.
