Comm-Tec will market the Vidyo brand in Spain and Portugal

Comm-Tec announces the commercialization agreement for Spain and Portugal of the prestigious brand of Vidyo's videoconferencing products. Thanks to this agreement, Comm-tec will provide the Spanish market with a complete range of products specially designed for videoconferencing.

Vidyo has been a pioneer in personal telepresence, allowing multiple video conferences with HD quality, in a natural way, with face-to-face interaction, on non-dedicated IP networks such as the Internet, using the comfort of your PC as a terminal point. Vidyo's patented technology, based on the H.264 SVC (Scalable Video Coding) standard, has developed products with international recognition, which have won awards for offering the lowest latency and the best tolerance against errors.

VidyoConference products have all been designed to take full advantage of the company's network infrastructures, without the need for additional dedicated networks. And even so, Vidyo manages to surpass the quality of video communications that were known until now, and with a much lower cost. This is made possible by Vidyo's proprietary VidyoRouter architecture, which uses the only scalable H.264 video encoding (SVC) solution that eliminates MCUs, while providing the lowest latency solution over the Internet and wireless networks.

With Vidyo video communication is natural and affordable for everyone – from the office, at home or while on the go – over general-purpose IP networks, such as the Internet. Vidyo has developed telepresence-quality video conferencing, simple and compatible with PCs, Macs and high definition rooms.
