The company Charmex Internacional presents to the Spanish market the new Qumi, the first projector of category "pocket"  manufactured by the creator of the most innovative and stylish audiovisual products on the market, Vivitek Corporation, which, in a size similar to that of a pocket novel and weighing just over half a kilo, It contains a powerful projector that perfectly optimizes the variables related to image quality and portability in an innovative design.

Inside its elegant ultra-compact housing, Qumi houses components that give it benefits related to the durability of the lamp throughout practically the entire life of the device; projections in high definition (HD Ready) and 3D achieving an excellent level of homogeneity; and a wide range of connectivity possibilities and compatibility with all platforms, even with devices manufactured by Apple.

Qumi's excellent projection quality makes it the ideal projector for sharing stunning interactive sessions in the office, and it is light enough to carry inside a pocket on business or holiday trips, thanks to its small dimensions (16x3.1x10cm) and its 600 gr of weight. Likewise, Qumi comes equipped  with technical specifications so that users can make the most of its high performance in terms of brightness, sharpness and chromatic richness in each of the projection categories supported by the system.

Qumi is based on LEDs, which means that the device does not require the use and periodic replacement of the delicate and expensive consumables present in most projectors on the market. Instead of a lamp, Qumi employs LED light source whose estimated life reaches 30,000 hours of projection, which is equivalent to 10 years using Qumi eight hours a day. From the point of view of saving energy consumption, projections with LED technology are not only more efficient compared to those of most devices that use traditional lamps, but the precision and fidelity of the colors is achieved by LED technology emitting light in the required shades, and increasing color saturation instead of using filters. In relation to image quality, Qumi has a native WXGA resolution (1280 x 800), that is, high definition "HD Ready", a contrast ratio of 2500: 1, 300 lumens of brightness and is prepared to support 3D projections.

Mobility is key in a world with increasingly powerful smart phones, and the advent of sophisticated and versatile tablets. In this context, the appearance of a powerful and ultra-compact projector such as Qumi makes it a valuable support when making company presentations, at home as a home-cinema projector, and can also be used in an improvised way on the move. Through its multiple connectivity options including Mini-HDMI, Universal I/O via 24-pin connector for VGA imputs, audio out, composite video-in, the Vivitek "pocket" projector can connect with all the most widespread devices on the market, including smart phones, laptops, video game consoles, digital cameras, and tablets of all brands, including Apple platforms.

The versatility of Qumi satisfies both the "gamers", for its ability to connect to any video game console and the high quality of the  projections, as well as fans of watching home theater, and also those who prefer to see the latest photos taken with the i-phone, watch a video or website of the iPad in large format, or share videos of the holidays comfortably in a group, without losing an iota of quality in the images and being able to contemplate them on a screen of up to 90 inches diagonal.

Being portability one of the key elements of Qumi, the professional has a great ally in the workplace thanks to its document viewer,  which eliminates the need to connect the projector to a PC or other device. Qumi projects the contents directly from both USB sticks and Micro SD cards. The document viewer contained in Qumi handles files made with PowerPoint, Word, Excel and plays PDFs and, for navigation between documents, you can use the luminous controls that are located at the top of it, or use the remote control that is included in the system box, as well as all the cables necessary to connect any external device from the aforementioned platforms.

The elegant styling that encloses the Qumi design can be appreciated every time it is put into operation. When the lights in the room go out, a soft blue lighting emanating from the projector's own housing makes its control buttons visible. In gloss white or black finishes and with metal rivets that protect the projection source and the audio system,  the new Qumi projector is offered to the domestic and business market, and can be found at the recommended price of 544 euros plus VAT.
