Open call for the Digital Signage Mexico Award 2013

altMexico. On August 22, within the framework of TecnoMultimedia México 2013, the Mexican Association of Digital Signage in conjunction with TecnoMultimedia will present the Digital Signage Mexico 2013 Award to the best installations in this area that have been made during the last year.

Cristian Mecalco, director of the Association, explained that thanks to the qualification process to which the participating projects are subjected, the Award has become a platform to promote a growing industry such as digital media, as well as a tool to help identify industry leaders.

According to the rules of the contest, companies interested in participating will only be able to register projects developed in their entirety between January 1, 2011 and December 30, 2012, pilot projects or tests will not be accepted and only one project per company will be allowed to register.

To apply for a project it is necessary to complete the registration form on the Association's website. In addition to presenting the information of the project complying with all the parameters established in the rules of the award, which can be accessed by clicking here.

The expectation in terms of reception and level of participation in the award is high, as the Digital Signage industry is a sector in clear growth. This is what Mecalco shows when stating that "there are more and more companies with their eyes on this digital sector and others who seek advice to train in the technical and theoretical aspects involved in a DS and DOOH circuit, so we firmly believe that Mexico will soon become the spearhead for all of Latin America."

Finally, Mecalco highlighted the role of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm in the promotion of this industry. "TecnoMultimedia is the most important Audio and Video fair in Mexico, as well as the place where the greats of the national Digital Signage attend. We could not think of a better scenario, if there is a place where we will find the best, it is undoubtedly TecnoMultimedia InfoComm."

Remember that TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico will be held between August 21 and 23 at the World Trade Center, Mexico City. For more information on academic programming and the trade show visit www.tecnomultimedia.com
