As part of its first products in the SQX range of transmission and compression of IP technology, Datapath have launched the ActiveSQX scalable card. A powerful PCIe card designed to decode multiple video streams using an integral processor.
It is a scalable solution, it can work hand in hand with other ActiveSQX cards installed to support the management of a complete CCTV system or connect with online libraries, transmission and decoding for the display on screen of accelerated video.
ActiveSQX is capable of simultaneously decoding and transferring up to 1.2 GBps of video data, equivalent to 6x 1080p 60fps streams. Additionally, each card can decode 50+D1 streams.
The card offers a large number of simultaneous encodings, all available within a single surface of the Windows desktop screen. The decoded video can be scaled for playback on multiple screens.
