Shure

Latin America. Shure launched the Microflex Wireless neXt 2 (MXW neXt 2), the latest addition to the Microflex Ecosystem, continuing the success of the original Microflex Wireless platform. Designed with a unique combination of advanced features, the new Microflex Wireless neXt 2 is a versatile 2-channel wireless system designed to deliver an accessible, intuitive, and end-to-end audio solution for diverse spaces and hybrid environments.

"MXW next 2 is an ideal new solution for those looking for greater meeting fairness and clear sound reinforcement in video conferencing and hybrid presentations, both in classrooms and enterprise spaces," said Doug Daube, director of conferencing and global product management at Shure. "AV/IT professionals in corporate and higher education environments now require more flexible solutions for teaching, conference spaces, and other hybrid scenarios. MXW neXt 2 will help address their current challenges by simplifying workflows and affordably delivering exceptional Microflex audio performance, all in a convenient and easy-to-use form factor."

In today's corporate and educational environments, audio integrators and professionals demand easy-to-use, consistent, and high-quality audio solutions, from small conference rooms to large auditoriums. To meet these requirements, Microflex Wireless neXt 2 features a unique combination of advanced DSP features and comprehensive audio I/O connections, such as USB, Dante Network Audio, and Analog Audio. Sync microphones at the touch of a button, it only takes a few minutes to set up easily. All of these features simplify complex installation workflows and deliver exceptional audio right out of the box.

Microflex Wireless neXt 2 delivers high-quality audio for spaces of all sizes that require only two microphones and connects seamlessly to video conferencing systems for situations with remote presenters. It also offers a new microphone design with improved security and increased dynamic range and longer battery life of up to 28 hours to last all day.

End-to-end solution for ambient audio
MXW neXt 2 enables quick and easy integration for different rooms with an all-in-one base unit that combines an APT/charger and an integrated advanced DSP, reducing the amount of hardware required. It can be networked or used as a standalone system thanks to its comprehensive set of audio connections: Dante, analog and USB.

MXW neXt 2 offers a choice of 3 different and redesigned wireless microphone formats, each with the addition of a high-resolution LCD screen to monitor remaining battery life and connection quality. The MXW1X Bodypack, Stick MXW2X or Tabletop MXW6X can be pre-configured to handle multiple applications with ease and can all be loaded on the same base.

With increased battery life of between 17 hours for bodypack and table/surface microphones and 28 hours for handheld microphones, integrators can set up a room with confidence, knowing that the space will be equipped with reliable, exceptional audio for use during long conferences and workshops throughout the day.

With direct connectivity to video conferencing systems and seamless integration with MXA microphones, the new Microflex Wireless neXt 2 is perfect for hybrid use cases that require audio capture from in-room participants, sound reinforcement from a presenter, and remote audio from in-line presenters. both live and for recording. This unique capability makes it more feasible to create true equity in meetings and training.

Superior Encryption
Recognizing the importance of confidentiality in corporate spaces, MXW neXt 2 includes Shure Audio Encryption, based on the AES-256 algorithm that delivers a robust and protected audio signal. The AES-265 encryption algorithm was adopted as one of the most secure forms of network protection and uses a user-configured passphrase on all devices. This built-in security ensures that audio content is protected between all Microflex devices in the room, giving both end users and integrators peace of mind.

The MXW neXt 2 will be showcased at ISE 2024 (January 30 to February 2). Visit Shure at the Exhibit Hall, Booth No. 3N300 in Hall 3.

The MXW neXt 2 will be available soon from Shure Authorized Dealers.
