The ISA 828 MkII is an eight-channel preamp with the simple microphone preamp design of the focusrite ISA 110 module original focusrite of the Focusrite Studio Console and integrates eight of Focusrite's classic microphone preamps with Lundahl LL1538 transformers at each input.
It has an updated power supply that allows for more efficient power consumption, reduction in heat generation and reliable operation. The front panel remains unchanged, with six-step measurement on each channel and instrument inputs on the front panel for channels 1-4.
To complement this equipment, the ISA ADN8 cards are available, which offers ADAT Optical, AES3 and Dante connectivity at speeds of up to 24 bits / 192 kHz, and the new ISA ADN2, an optional two-channel 24-bit / 192 kHz A-D card that provides high-quality analog-to-digital conversion for the ISA One microphone preview and DI. The card offers primary and secondary Dante RJ45 output ports, an XLR connector for AES3 output, a Toslink connector for ADAT output, and an RCA connector for S/PDIF output. Word Clock I/O on BNC connectors allows synchronization with various external devices.
