Learn about the individual membership sponsorship program

Latin America. Companies in the Pro-AV industry that face problems with the qualification of their professionals, can adhere to the new program created by AVIXA that is already in force. The Individual Membership Sponsorship Program aims to stimulate the improvement of professionals working in the audiovisual market, following models already successfully adopted in other countries.

"One of the most common challenges for manufacturers and distributors is to ensure that their products are specified and installed correctly," explains Nelson Baumgratz, AVIXA's Country Manager for Mercosur. "With this Program, we intend to create a category of Premium professionals, taking advantage of AVIXA's educational platforms. The participants will have all the support of the entity to perfect themselves technically, and the sponsors will be able to follow that development continuously."

According to Baumgratz, each manufacturer or distributor of audiovisual equipment will be able to select, within its chain of customers and partners, key people to participate in AVIXA's educational programs. These professionals will receive a "Premium Membership", valid for one year and paid for by the sponsor. The sponsoring company will receive periodic reports on the performance of each indicated professional, who at the end of the courses will have access to the other benefits of the membership.

The program already has the support of some affiliated companies and begins to receive more adhesions. "We understand that it is very important that the end customer is educated about AV technology, so that they can plan their investments safely and raise the level of user experience," says Carlos Dalmarco, CTS, a consultant in the Pro-AV segment and one of the sponsors through his company. "This is important for the audiovisual industry. We are offering the sponsorship of an annual AVIXA affiliation to those responsible for the IT and Facilities areas of our clients with these objectives.

The beneficiary professional will commit by means of "participation agreement", to conclude the two initial courses, Quick Start in the AV Industry and The Fundamentals of the AV Industry for Technical and Sales Professionals, in a maximum of 120 days, in addition to presenting the exam to obtain the RAVT (AV Technical Recognition Certification), of AVIXA.

AVIXA currently has nearly 5,600 affiliates in more than 80 countries. To learn more about the new Sponsorship Program, you can click here.
