Ready to start activities in Latin America

Latin America. Taking into account the needs of AV professionals and in order to continue contributing and giving value to the industry, we will start in February 2017 our calendar of courses and new events.

Face-to-face courses
Considering the advancement of technology and the new developments that it presents to the different markets, in InfoComm International® we have updated the three installments of the AV System Design courses, which we began to teach at the end of 2016 to continue in 2017; in this way the participants will have during the year with new knowledge that they can apply in their AV projects.

The three courses are responsible for delivering essential information on the design of audiovisual systems to engineers, AV designers, end users of schools, universities, companies, banks, etc.; and design managers of construction companies, integrators and architects, among others.

Likewise, we will continue to teach in the region the AV Practical Course: Cable Installation and Termination Techniques.

Events
In accordance with the changes in the AV industry and with our strategy for 2020, this 2017 we will begin to develop new local relationship events, seeking to deliver, both to AV professionals and to end users, content that impacts their daily work.

The traditional Round Tables that we developed in the region will be replaced by the "InfoComm and the AV Industry" (EII) Events, which seek to increase the understanding and value of VA among customers (end users) and professionals in the sector.

The IBDs will be composed of 2 or 3 talks focused on educating end users in the different aspects of the AV industry, which will allow them to make better purchasing decisions taking into account their needs; they will also be provided with tools (such as standards) so that they can verify and ensure the operation of the systems. Talks or seminars will be given by experts from the industry or related sectors, as well as volunteers and members of InfoComm.

At the end of these sessions, a space will be opened for the interaction of attendees in order to share ideas, experiences and generate new contacts.
