In addition, how technology can improve student interest, encourage faster learning, and facilitate greater collaboration in order to meet the needs of an audience that is more up-to-date than ever in technology.
Sony will create an interactive learning environment, designed to present solutions for classrooms, auditoriums and common areas, demonstrating how intelligent audiovisual products represent customized solutions that meet the specific needs of educational institutions. These solutions, which adapt to all types of budgets, open up new and attractive learning possibilities in all areas of today's campuses.
Sony's stand at Bett 2016 will incorporate six distinct areas showcasing the latest collaboration and learning solutions, including:
• Visual learning: Organized with the look of a modern classroom, this area will incorporate the VPL-SW635C interactive ultra-short distance projector, controlled by Sony Xperia tablets and a 43" BRAVIA® 4K professional monitor with HTML5 capabilities. Ultra-short-throw projectors create large, bright images on screens, whiteboards, or the wall, saving space while reducing reflections and shadows, so teachers can deliver more engaging presentations to their students.
• Engaging classes: Designed as if it were an auditorium, this part of the booth will focus on Sony's interactive presentation solution, Vision Presenter, developed to help educators get the most out of active learning methods. This tool brings together a wide range of multimedia resources to create large, attractive and dynamic presentations. In addition, it allows the combination of video, still images, PowerPoint slides and much more in a large dynamic montage that can be easily managed from tablet devices. At Bett, the solution will be integrated with Sony's VPL-FHZ65 3LCD laser projector, SRG-300SE remotely operated Full HD PTZ camera and PCS-XC1 portable wireless HD video conferencing system, in order to show visitors how to turn any classroom or lab into an interactive meeting room.
• Smart signage: Ideal for keeping students informed in public spaces, reception areas and welcome areas, Sony will show the professional BRAVIA® LED 4K monitor in 55" color FW-55X8570C. In addition to delivering beautiful, bright images at low operating costs, the monitor will also be equipped with TDM digital signage software, which allows users to easily create content and send it to one or more monitors.
• Distance learning: This area, which will include Sony's FW-55X8570C B2B monitor alongside the Ubicast distance learning solution, will demonstrate how video can bring a more personal approach to learning.
• Monitor and protect: Sony will introduce its latest range of surveillance cameras, including the 4K SNC-VM772R and the discreet SNC-XM631, ideal for educational institutions. In schools, ensuring the safety of students and staff is always a priority, a task whose difficulty increases along with the size of the facilities to be monitored. Sony's network cameras include technologies such as View-DR and Integrated IR to deliver reliable surveillance of any school environment, both day and night, as well as 4K resolution, delivering industry-leading sharpness and sensitivity from school entrances to recreation areas.
• The power of touch technology: Sony will also demonstrate the latest touchscreen solutions via the BRAVIA® FWL-75W855C and FW-65X8570C monitors, giving visitors a first-hand experience and the opportunity to try this innovative technology.
