Philips presented its new SmartLED lighting line

Colombia. Philips launched in Colombia the second generation of SmartLED, a line designed for the needs and characteristics of its customers and the market, which maintains the proposal of offering products with the best cost-benefit ratio of the market and LED luminaires for the main applications: offices, industries, warehouses, outdoor areas, parking lots, among others.

The new SmartLED line belongs to a number of outstanding products that provide light quality with great energy savings and low maintenance costs, at an affordable price. In addition, the use of LED technology in lighting allows for a longer service life, low maintenance and fewer replacements, as well as energy savings of up to 80% compared to traditional technology products, resulting in a more sustainable lighting solution.

"The quality and lighting levels of the SmartLED 2 line allow for the "1 for 1" replacement of similar items used in traditional lighting. You just have to remove your old system and install your new SmartLED solution, without having to redo complex electrical wiring," said Ricardo Prieto Rondón, Lighting Manager for North Latin America at Philips.

This portfolio includes the SmartLED Downlight 2, considered the most accessible solution in LED lighting for circulation areas, corridors, and general office lighting. It is a product that can replace fluorescent lamps and provides more than 70% energy savings, with a useful life 2.5 times longer at an affordable price.

Another of the outstanding products that were presented on this occasion was the SmartLED Office 2, which provides general lighting solutions for work areas in offices. It is a line with a long service life and low maintenance cost, allowing energy savings of around 45% and also offering a high light output.

Also part of this SmartLED Street 2 portfolio, which is considered a perfect LED solution for lighting for medium and low flow secondary streets, residential condominiums and parks. Among its most important features is the great reduction in its maintenance costs, offering more than 60% energy savings and a long service life. In addition, it includes a surge protection device.

In this way, Philips remains at the forefront in the lighting sector leading the inevitable shift towards the adoption of LED technology and its advantages. Compared to conventional technologies, the SmartLED 2 line offers good quality products at a manageable cost, becoming an alternative for all types of lighting projects.
