Christie Boxer 30, new high-brightness 2K model

Latin America. The  Christie Boxer is now available in 2K, equipment that has been designed with rental applications in mind – concerts, recreational parks, projection mapping, theater or conventions – but also in permanent facilities, such as museums, planetariums, higher education centers or places of worship.

Omnidirectional with NFC (Near Field Communication), preview screen and 1,500 hours of lamp life to drop to 70% brightness, this 30,000 lumens Boxer weighs 72.5 kilograms and offers 2K image with optional upgrade license to DLP 4K. With identical rigging support and the same lamp modules, lenses and projector controls as the Boxer 4K30, the Boxer 30 reinforces the Boxer family and introduces a resolution refresh path.

The Christie Boxer 30 has six mercury lamps housed in three lamp cartridges, Christie TruLife™ electronics and Christie Twist™ as standard, thus allowing blending and warping of multiple projectors on curved or irregular surfaces without the need to resort to external solutions.

Thanks to NFC technology, the user can check on each lamp the hours of use and serial numbers, thus minimizing the task of tracking the life of the lamp and simplifying and speeding up changes without stopping the show. The Boxer 30 and the entire Boxer family have omnidirectional orientation capability, which makes the installation and possibilities of their location considerably more flexible.
