In April 2013, when Elation Professional reached an agreement with Capture Visualisation AB of Sweden, to distribute its Capture lighting design software, it marked the end of Elation's search for a professional design package to complement the company's growing product line and the beginning of a rewarding cooperation.

Regarded as an easy-to-use visualization software with a quick learning curve, Capture has found traction in both North America and Europe, because it allows users to virtually design lighting, beam systems, and stages for shows or installation projects in a 3D environment.
It includes an extensive library of accessories from popular light brands, as well as armor and accessories and can even incorporate video. The software is also a valuable sales tool, allowing designers to put together virtual presentations for clients.
Capture is also a tool that Elation uses for its own internal needs, such as booth designs for the company's trade shows and showrooms, both in the United States and Europe, as well as in daily cooperation with distributors to create design designs for its clients' projects.
