Panasonic presented software for video wall configuration

International. Panasonic presented the Auto Camera Adjustment kit, a management software created to optimize the use of video walls and that reduces installation time and improves the chromatic uniformity of images.

It is an optional kit that is integrated into the Video Wall Manager software that Panasonic offers for free, just like the camera update kit already available for the company's multi-projector software, it allows to greatly reduce the work, complexity and configuration and adjustment costs involved in the simultaneous use of several screens.

"Until today, installers had to adjust the color and brightness of all the displays of the video wall one by one, which is laborious, requires specialized knowledge and in some cases does not produce totally accurate results," explains Enrique Robledo, Marketing Director of Panasonic Visual System Solutions.

However, after activating the Auto Camera Adjustment function of the Video Wall Manager software, the installer connects a compatible camera, takes a photograph of the video wall and the software analyzes the backlight control and white balance to adjust the color of each panel accurately.

The software then automatically adjusts and saves the settings of each display, allowing great savings in terms of adjustment time and costs. On the other hand, if the need arises to replace one of the displays, it is not necessary to manually recalibrate the videowall.

The Auto Camera Adjustment Kit (TY-VUK10) features an installation mounting system that includes modular display frames and a system of magnets that ensure the precise alignment of each display across all axes.

Users can download the Video Wall Manager software for free from Panasonic's PASS website. For the Auto Camera Adjustment package, a paid activation code is required for a single PC, not for all displays.

The Video Wall Manager and Auto Camera Adjustment Upgrade Kit are compatible with Panasonic's LFV50, LFV5 and LFV70 series displays.
