Harman Smart Conference Room Solutions

Latin America. With the adoption of new digital technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing or mobility, among others, the ease of managing and improving resources in companies has increased according to the needs of the current market. In this sense, the professional division of Harman has different solutions to offer the maximum technological benefit to organizations from automation and domotization.

A clear example where Harman technology can be applied and positively affect the competitiveness of companies, is specifically located in the automation and domotization of a conference room, where the key elements are the automaton management of audio, video and lighting to increase the levels of productivity of employees in meetings, based on its brands AMX, JBL, Crown and AKG.

JBL offers different models of speakers adaptable to all types of needs and space, ideal for a conference room. Harman's products are designed for any type of ceiling, its world-class technology intrinsic in the Control 40 series has advantages for handling sound coverage through RBI technology inherited from linear tour systems. The Control 40 line allows bass and treble to have the same coverage and save resources by using a smaller number of speakers to fill the hearing space of an enclosure.

On the other hand, AMX, provides specialized solutions in automation, distribution and management of image, video and audio files through the internet. AMX products include ENZO, a system for presentations that allows mirror transmissions of any type of screen, laptop or smartphone, adapting to the trends of technological mobility as a paradigm of competitiveness.

AMX systems allow video conferencing by streaming, in addition to its ease of control through its touch-sensitive technology and can be conveniently connected to different types of platform, from flush mount to servo-motorized platforms. An automated conference room can control  the following items:

  • Room lighting by zones
  • Electrical projection screen
  • Projector (PC, Bluray, TV)
  • Amplifier (Audio PC, bluray, TV)
  • Bluray Player
  • Opening of Speakers
  • Pay-TV Codec

Crown systems can range from 45 to 2500 watts of power per channel in your installation line. These amplifiers have connectivity with popular transmission protocols such as: Dante, AVB, Cobranet and Blu-Link. They handle high impedance outputs with constant voltage of 70 and 100 volts to allow high sound distribution.

A basic component in automating a conference room is surface microphones. AKG or Crown have solutions according to the needs of each company, thinking about all the different needs of the Mexican market
