Axis launches Full HD webcast cameras

Latin America. Axis Communications launched a series of V59 cameras, available on AXIS V5914 models, with HD transmission, and AXIS V5915, which streams in Full HD, both with high audio and video quality. The series was developed to meet the requirements for audiovisual productions and online broadcasts.

Its use can be applied in venues such as auditoriums, classrooms, churches and sports stadiums, as well as in external places for the transmission of weather and traffic conditions for television stations, for example.

"With this launch, we are leveraging our experience in video surveillance cameras in order to diversify the offer of our products for other applications, such as cameras developed exclusively to meet the main technical demands of streaming transmissions," says The Marketing Manager of Axis Communications, Marcelo Ponte.

In addition to being suitable for the broadcast and webcast markets, the V59 series can be used for videoconferencing, allowing geographically separated teams to work at a level of integration very close to what it would be in person. "The interaction is even greater when we see on the screen the details of the interlocutor's face immediately," adds the manager.

The V59 series cameras can be installed on tables, walls and ceilings, with just the use of a network cable. This flexibility allows you to take the camera to any room in the office, without the inconvenience of using a single environment for this. The control is done through a web platform, with the use of desktops and notebooks, tablets and smartphones.

From a technical point of view, the V59 series offers optical zoom that increases the image up to 30 times, with a resolution of 1,080p and a speed of 60 frames per second, capturing scenes without problems, even of moving objects with more vivid and real colors, ideal for studies.

AXIS V5914 cameras with HDTV 720p and AXIS V5915 with HDTV 1080p are expected to be available for this first half of 2015 through Axis distribution channels.
