Hermes Music presented news of Audio Technica in Mexico

Mexico. During the latest version of Sound:Check, which took place last weekend, the specialist distributor Hermes Music presented to the Mexican market the latest news from Audio Technica.

Headphones, turntables, wireless systems and microphones were on the list of products that attendees at the fair were able to know in detail. Among the novelties are its new USB microphone of cardioid condenser AT2020USBi, compatible with iOS.

Combining high-resolution audio with enhanced connectivity features, the AT2020USBi cardioid condenser microphone adds a new level of sound quality and convenience to the USB microphone lineup.

Based on the praised AT2020 model, this digital output microphone incorporates an analog/digital converter and a 24-bit/96 kHz sample rate to deliver high-resolution articulation and perfect intelligibility for use in home studio recordings, outdoor recording, podcasting and voiceover.

The AT2020USBi adds high-resolution audio (24-bit/96 kHz) to A-T's line of USB microphones. The micro AT2020USBi works with USB and Lightning cables (included), which allows users to use it directly to digitally capture audio from the device of their choice: PC, Mac or iOS. The built-in gain control adds convenience as it allows users to adjust the input level directly into the microphone.

In addition, it introduced the BP40 large diaphragm broadcast microphone. This dynamic microphone offers a rich, clear and natural, condenser-like sound for a wide variety of uses, such as radio, overdubs, post-production, podcasting, etc.

The hypercardioid polar pattern of the micro provides isolation from the desired sound source and maximum rejection outside the capture axis when used in nearby production environments. The capsule's optimized location maintains an imposing vocal presence, and the multi-layered windshield provides superb internal filtering of occlusive sounds. The microphone also includes a switchable 100 Hz high-pass filter to further increase protection against occlusive sounds.

The BP40 microphone's large diaphragm features a patented floating edge design that maximizes the diaphragm surface and optimizes its overall performance, and the Humbucking voice bovine prevents electromagnetic interference.
