Panasonic launched 4K laser projector

Latin America. A new series of 10,000 lumens 4K laser projectors that features quadruple pixels as its predecessors, was introduced by the Panasonic company.

The PT-RQ13K is the most compact and lightweight projector in its category and also uses a technology that generates quadruple pixels to deliver high-detail 4K images with professional quality.

To achieve this, the projector's optical axis moves horizontally and vertically at a frame rate of 240 Hz and generates four different pixels from a single color point, effectively multiplying the image density by four. A new generation of purpose-built processors analyzes the information needed to add additional pixels and optimizes the result with fluid images of high contrast and great detail.

In addition to this model, Panasonic has launched the PT-RZ12K and PT-RS11K models, two three-chip DLP laser projectors.

The PT-RZ12K and PT-RS11K projectors incorporate frame replacement technology at a rate of 120 Hz and 12,000 lumens of brightness at WUXGA and SXGA+ resolutions respectively.

The projectors feature a fail-safe dual-steer laser motor that guarantees 20,000 hours of maintenance-free illumination and its new liquid cooling system reduces operating noise and maximizes the performance of the laser light source.

The commercialization of the PT-RQ13K will begin in autumn 2015, while that of the PT-RZ12K and PT-RS11K projectors will begin in the summer of 2015.
