Peru. In one of the most important shopping centers in the city of Lima, the Jockey Plaza, LG Electronics installed a modern digital signage system as a novel tool for the commercial purposes of the establishment presented through dynamic content.A total of 48 LCD monitors were installed, one followed by the other, around a circular perimeter of 50 meters, creating a 360° communicative illusion. The system must be controlled over a local area network (LAN) and remotely over a wide area network (WAN).
The system is managed remotely: a LAN connection has been deployed with 53 network points (including LCD monitors and Net-Top-Box). "LG Electronics is very happy with the results and we are pleased to have delivered the project just in time to present the publicity during the 2010 World Cup," explains a separate statement.
