Colombia. A statute that provides for the incorporation of new technologies and systems of regulated visual outdoor advertising for Bogotá, Colombia, was proposed by the Mayor of Bogotá in the District Council. This project would enable the economic exploitation of the city's public space with the establishment of "regulated use zones for advertising", including the rules and regulations on visual advertising in the country's capital.
If this statute is approved, the District Planning Secretariat must define the areas in which the furniture for the use of this type of advertising will be incorporated, which would have screens, mobile notices, billboards and luminous signs.
