The in-wall protection system also won a CustomRetailer Exc!te award and was named by Electronic House as one of its products of the year 2008. Electronic House's products of the year are chosen by the editors of EH publications, four magazines dedicated to integrating technology into the home.
This decision is based on year-round evaluations, product testing, and conversations with installers and product users. The new products were judged according to promises of features that publishers felt would be enthusiastically received by consumers. The Exc!te award, presented by CustomRetailer magazine, pays tribute to products that stand out for their innovation and high-performance solutions aimed at professional installation. Winners are selected from hundreds of nominations received and judged by the magazine's editorial staff.
